Dr Ravindra Mehta is the Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospital, Bengaluru.

His work during the pandemic spans across various areas covering patient care, system contributions, city and state level public health contributions, out-of-the-box thought leader concepts and innovations, research and publications, guideline formation, public education and expression in print and media. He has also established a State-Of-The-Art Interventional Pulmonary Program, regarded as one of the leading programs in the country, and the first in Karnataka. This has led to ground breaking work in Interventional Pulmonology, which has been presented in international American and European meetings.
