In January of this Year, Sangeeta, a constable from Yelahanka Police Station showed exemplary act of humanity by breastfeeding a day-old baby girl that was abandoned on the street near GKVK campus. A mother of a one-year old child herself, Sangeeta did not think twice to comfort the abandoned child. Having been applauded by the police force and public for the act, we thought it would be befitting for Namma Bengaluru Awards to recognise and celebrate this Champion.
